HEALTH

CRISMA:

“If we can modify the destiny of a person for the better, with that, we have justified our passage through this life.”
In Mexico there are more than five million people with some type of motor and/or intellectual disability, a situation that is compounded by environments of violence, poor nutrition and economic difficulties. This figure says nothing if each one of these people is not given a voice, a name and a life story.

Support for children and young people with disabilities and the search to provide them with a better quality of life are our priority in the health axis, which has led us to assume the commitment to share the reins of the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center from San Miguel de Allende to which, with the participation of benefactors and a great team of collaborators, we provide new facilities, better equipped and designed for better results with patients, in addition to the fact that we can now change the lives of more and more people.

MANOS:

“By nurturing your body they also feed your dreams.”
In this program we seek strategic alliances to provide nutrition, healthy eating and well-being to beneficiaries of low-income communities. In partnership with MannaRelief and its co-founder, Sam Caster, we are also a primary distributor of Mighty Milk, a nutritional milk for children with 10 times the impact on immune activation.Strong links with non-profit associations that as allies ensure to reach people from adverse socioeconomic conditions and who are unable to acquire an optimal diet by themselves.

COMMUNITY

ARCA:

“More than a wheelchair to get around, they get wings to achieve their dreams.”
A constant activity in Vamos México is the delivery of wheelchairs to people with motor disabilities, for whom poverty is an aggravating factor in their condition.
With each wheelchair they receive independence, freedom to create new opportunities, improvement for their environment and that of their family, thus achieving a healthier and more harmonious environment.

ALAS:

“We promote social leadership in young people to create a positive impact on society.”
Through this program we seek to promote change in young people who are concerned about the well-being of their communities. In coordination with the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), we select a group of young people to receive an academic program in the United States. Thanks to this activity, they live experiences that strengthen their personal, family and social growth, and with this, they have a positive impact on their environment. They themselves become qualified instructors at the Center of Possibilities at Centro Fox.

LEADERSHIP

PRESIDENT FOR A DAY:

“We awaken vocations, we promote leaders.”

Is a unique program to promote leadership, whose objective is to create socially responsible leaders, who generate actions that cause a positive impact on society. The main objective of the course is to determine the skills and competencies of the people who carry out the program. It is an experience divided into 4 interactive rooms, with a total duration of 4 hours, working in blocks that complement each other to develop leadership skills in the social and personal sphere. After each experience, a follow-up of the cases is carried out, so that the proposed commitments achieve their goal.

MUSIC SCHOOL:

“We develop a culture of peace and self-realization through music.”
Is a project that originated from the need to respond to the demand to create spaces for musical learning, through a process that could contribute to the integral and permanent development of children and young people. This leads not only to the creation of an important symphony orchestra in the State of Guanajuato, but also to the reduction of leisure, addiction and other social problems in San Cristóbal and surrounding communities. This project is part of the Bajío System of Community Musical Groups. The purpose of our music school is to have a cultural activity in which the members of the different communities can find in musical expression a way to use their free time for the common good.
